It is estimated that 35-54% of doctors and nurses are burnt out. The above video is a quick story about my feelings of burnout, which was one of the big reasons why I quit the job that was burning me out, and went into solo practice.

Hubris is a killer. Fight it with humility! In medicine, we often don't know why things happen as they do, and it can be hard to say "I don't know" when faced with certain questions. Some patients view uncertainty very unfavorably and want total confidence by their doctor all the time. How do you feel when your doctor says "I don't know"?

I am very excited to finally announce that I will be opening the doors to my new gastroenterology practice in May 2018! The practice is named Precision Digestive Care, and it will be a solo private practice located in Huntington, NY.
